This article is going to show you exactly how to download and install the Sphax PureBDCraft resource pack in Minecraft. Well, Sphax is a Minecraft texture pack that is created by the team over at BDCraft. They have kept Sphax updated for years, and they are always very quick to update to the newest versions of Minecraft as soon as they come out. Sphax PurBDCraft is a more cartoon/comic book looking resource pack for Minecraft adding in extremely cute animals and great looking textures all in a more cartoony style when compared to Minecraft's default resource pack. Thus, without any further delay, let's just right on into how to download and install Sphax PureBDCraft in Minecraft!
How To Download & Install the Sphax PureBDCraft Texture Pack in Minecraft
Step 1) Download The Sphax PureBDCraft Resource Pack
First things first, we’ll need to download the Sphax PureBDCraft texture pack for Minecraft. You can find the official download page for the Sphax PureBDCraft texture pack by clicking the yellow “Download Sphax PureBDCraft” button above or by clicking here. Once you are on the Sphax PureBDCraft Resource Pack download page, scroll down until you see a ‘Download' heading in white. Under this, you will see all of the terms of using Sphax PureBDCraft. If you agree with these, click the text that says ‘Click here to accept the Terms of Use. This is text is to the right of the red ‘X' at the bottom center of this section. Once you click this, you will then be taken off to page where you can see all of the versions of Sphax PureBDCraft. The version you download depends on the version of Minecraft you are going to play, and the kind of detail that you want in your texture pack. Sphax comes in 512x, 256x, 128x, 64x, 32x, and 16x versions. You can use the slider on the image to change the version you want. Most people will be perfectly fine using the 64x version. That is what we will be using for this tutorial, however, the good news is installing them is the exact same for all versions of Minecraft and all qualities of the resouce pack. It's even the same on PC and Mac!
After you click download, click the ‘download with ad' button. Then, you will be taken off to a page where you don't want to click anything. Just wait 5 secounds and click the ‘skip ad' button in the top right. After that, you will be taken to a page where your download will begin after waiting a few more seconds.
Step 2) Open Up Minecraft & Find The ‘Resource Pack' Section
Now, before we can install Sphax PureBDCraft, we need to find the folder to install it to. Luckily, this is very, very easy just open up Minecraft, and from the main menu, click the ‘Options' button. This will open up a page where you will see a ‘Resource Packs' option. Click on that, and you will see ‘Available Resource Packs' and ‘Selected Resource Packs'. You will also see an ‘Open Resource Pack Folder' button. From here, we can install the resource pack.
Step 3) Install Sphax PureBDCraft
So you've gotten the Sphax PureBDCraft Resource Pack downloaded, and you've found the Resource Pack folder. The quest is though how to do you actually get it installed? Well, this is actually really simple. Just click the ‘Open Resource Pack' folder button to open up the resource pack folder. Now, all you need to do to install Sphax PureBDCraft is drag-and-drop it into the resource packs folder that you have now opened. That's it! Just drag and drop Sphax PureBDCraft into the resource pack folder, and you are done!
Step 4) Select The Sphax PureBDCraft Resource Pack
The last thing that you need to do is select the Sphax PureBDCraft texture pack. This is very, very easy. Just go back to Minecraft, click the ‘Done' button in the bottom right, and then, click the ‘Open Resource Pack' folder again. You will now see ‘Sphax PureBDCraft', under the ‘Available Resource Packs' section. To activate it, just hover over the image on the left hand side of Sphax PureBDCraft and click the right pointing arrow. This will move the resource pack to the ‘Selected Resource Packs' section. Once you have moved the resource pack to this side, go ahead and click ‘Done'. Minecraft will then go ahead and install the texture pack and reload itself!
Step 5) Have Fun & Enjoy Sphax PureBDCraft!
