This article is our step-by-step guide on how to download and install the Balloon Client for Minecraft. Why would you want the Badlion Client? Well, because it adds in things like a client side anti-cheat, 1.8 PvP readiness, Betterframes to increase your FPS, and other features that allow you to PvP easier. Overall, Badlion is a PvP client that is allowed on most Minecraft servers because it has anti-cheat built in and is server friendly!
How To Download & Install the Badlion Client for Minecraft
Step 1) Download Badlion
The first step of getting Badlion is downloading it. You can find the official Badlion download page at the download link above. You can also click here to go to the download page. Once you are there, click the ‘Windows Download' button. Badlion will then download. You may need to keep/save the file depending on your browser. Once Badlion is downloaded, you will need to move Badlion to your desktop if it isn't there already. Once you've done that, we can move on to installing Badlion.
Step 2) Install & Open the Badlion Client
To install Badlion, double click on the Badlion file you downloaded. This will open up the installer. Read through the EULA and click ‘I Agree'. Next, you will be taken to a new page where you can click ‘Install'. The Badlion Launcher will then install. A desktop icon will appear for the Badlion client, and you can click the ‘Finish' button in the bottom right.
To open Badlion, just double-click the Badlion icon that is on the desktop. This will open the Badlion Launcher.
Step 3) Create a Badlion Account & Login
Once you are in the Badlion Launcher, you will need to create a Badlion account. You can do this by clicking the ‘Register Now' button. You will be taken to Badlion's site. Go through the account creation process here, and go back to the Badlion launcher and login to the account you created.
You may need to update BAC and restart your computer. If so, do this and reopen Badlion after your PC restarts.
Step 4) Launch Minecraft & Start Playing!
The Badlion Launcher is now downloaded and installed. Just click the ‘Play' button at the top of the launcher. Then, select the version of Minecraft you want to play from the drop-down box. You can also click the ‘settings' button towards the right-hand side of the launcher to increase RAM and change more advanced settings with Badlion.
Once you have all of your settings done and your version selected, click the big blue ‘Launch' button. This will then open up Minecraft with Badlion.
