Minecraft 1.20.1 Server Download

Minecraft 1.20.1, released June 12, 2023, is the first patch release of the Trails & Tales update and quickly became one of the most widely hosted versions. It fixed several issues from the 1.20 base release, particularly around the Archaeology system and world generation edge cases.

1.20.1 is the last version before Mojang's 1.20.2 networking changes, which broke compatibility with several older proxy systems.

For this reason, many large server networks deliberately stayed on 1.20.1. The Fabric modding ecosystem in particular saw strong 1.20.1 support, with many popular mods targeting it as a stable long-term base.
